Re: I think I would rather jump overboard.
Imagine being in that contraption as it goes down into the Sea,bit of a bumpy ride I would say!
Yes indeed rather dive over the side LOL!
Yes Chris indeed correct on the loss of Post! With the Migration to the new Server we had lost a few posts, unfortunate I know but them are the breaks!
Apologies to all that may have also lost a post or two!

Re: I think I would rather jump overboard.
Just think at the amusement parks they would charge for that.
Some of those boats have been used here in Oz to take illegal baot people back to Indonesia, not sure how they loaded them when they transfered from the RN ship to one of those. But the mind boggles!
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: I think I would rather jump overboard.
Hi Vernon.
what happened top all the `SEAFARING STORIES` thread in `SWINGING THE LAMP` forum.
I have lost all my stories on my old computer and was going to transferr them from the Seafaring Stories thread to my new computer, but now all gone and cannot be replaced. sad.
maybe a warning before would have been handy.

Re: I think I would rather jump overboard.
Chris,
Thanks for the link. I pulled a good one on my buddy. I told him it was a clip of the new method of life boat drill to be introduced soon as he's off next week on a cruise. He just called me (a barsteward) on the phone, busting a gut laughing.
Cheers, Rodney
