Re: Think of this Mr. Salmond and all those Yes voters
OOPS! Sorry to disappoint you guys but Scotland WILL be independent and very soon, as you understand. :-) Personally, I don't see how you guys have put up with your robbing "Old Boys" load of smarmy public schoolboy crooks. And the choice of MP's whom YOU voted for. We have had "the old scaremongering" worthless tactics from "down south". If Scotland is as worthless as you try to make out, why are you so extremely worried about us actually becoming independent? Do I detect a steadily and rapidly growing sense of terror emanating from these childish posts? Suck it up, guys! It's going to happen. Oh, we ALL notice a difference, both North & South. :-) Have a nice day.

Re: Think of this Mr. Salmond and all those Yes voters
I remember being on the wheel as we passed through the Suez Canal in or around 1960. We had an Egyptian Pilot,
Egypt had just joined up with Syria and Iraq, [ I think] the flag had three stars on the white stripe. to form
the United Arab Republic.
Our Captain was talking to him about it and why join up with the other two countries.
The Pilot went to the Chart Table and picked up a pencil and snapped it in half.
He then picked up three pencils and tried to snap them in half and couldnt.
He said, `Strength in Unity is better than being on your own.`
/ Maybe that Egyptian Pilot could teach Salmon a lesson.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Think of this Mr. Salmond and all those Yes voters
I am not really bothered if Scotland gets out or stays in. It will Not affect my life style one iota.
BUT what about all the many, many Scots who live and work in England?
Will they go back to their homeland? or as the ones I know here, will they continue to stay on English Benefits and Services?
If they become alians and are required to relocate back to their homeland that they are always talking about, but never go to. I think there would be a housing shortage, a job shortage, and a huge waiting list for Doctors and Hospital treatments.
They will not be members of the EU so will have to apply to stay in England as immigrants, so their position here may not be too good.
If they possess British Passports then they will have to give them up and apply for Scottish Passports.
Salmon hates England so much he wants to keep the English Pound as it will become.
I think the guy needs psychriatic help. But please not on our National Health Service.
Cheers
Brian.

How do you know when Salmond is lying? -------------+- you can see his lips move.
Salmond went the Gordon Brown school of accountancy. He spends the same money over and over again.

If you are representative of the majority then go with my blessing , but please remember the Old Boys did and still do include Messrs Blair , Brown , Dewer , Darling , ad infinitum . I think that for the good of the United Kingdom , given the choice ,I would vote against devolution , mainly because I have little trust that Salmon / Sturgeon will be able to carry out all they promise , but I assure you I am neither scared , frightened , terrified or worried , except for the good Unionists in Scotland
