Shipmates when u consider what we paid in and what we are now getting back we are getting ripped off. it all came down to the days when the shipowners where given holidays from their payments to the fund. claiming they could not afford to support the fund and are so called leaders allowed them to get away with it. Re the MNOPF pension fund just received a booklet re the old section of this fund. The MNOPF for those who are members and didn't know has been farmed out elsewhere. The old section being readjusted. As usual though is hard to understand but the runners of the fund give an email address and anyone wanting to know more can get in contact. I hope runners of the fund is an appropriate word and they just don't do that and run. Cheers John S

Hi Don, If you were an officer, dunno, but I receive a pension from the Merchant Navy Ratings Pension Fund, administered by JLT Employee Benefits Leatherhead , Surrey.
