I have said so many times , part of Britain's rot is or bending our selves over backwards to oblige minorities , Greenpeace and Sea Shepheard hve caused damage and pollution a well as endangering seamen going about their lawful , even if unpleasant business . We kis the Green lobby and in listning to then assume they know it all , look at bird deaths from wind turbines as an example , the numbers are disgusting . The RSPCA spend your hard earned donations prosecuting huntsmen instead of saving pet dogs , and teh RSPB protect the raptors no matter how many songbirds they eat . We have too much minority worship

Green Peace and the ilk will not venture anywhere near Russian controlled territories again, but prefer soft targets where jail time is a holiday, if they get it. The RSPB and ilk are another farcical bunch, roads, buildings etc delayed for months because of breeding seasons because some obscure newt has been found, and the sound and activities of bulldozers and graders will traumatise them, however it is okay for bulldozers and graders to currently work on a bird sanctuary on the Somerset levels. Remember when the first motorways were built all the 'Greens' shouting about the decimation of wildlife and butterflies etc, yet the central reservations became the most prolific breeding grounds for them, as predators couldn't reach them. But yet again we gave into a bunch of vociferous minorities, things have not changed.

one of the biggest contributors to the movement is Bob Barker of the "price is right" tv show. Just last week i was watching the tv program "whale wars" and one of their ships tried to get between a japan factory ship and a refueling tanker in the antartic. considerable amount of damage was done to the greenpeace ship as it nearly capsized due to the agressiveness of the factory ship. however the tanker pulled in her fenders and left the area. the action of the greenpeace captain put a lot of lives at stake with that little stunt.

I don't like Whaleing , but would prefer to see it dealt with by international law than dangerous behaviour

re #7, rob, they tried that and it was outlawed and every country abided by the ruling, except japan who in their twisted logic and their greed for sushi and such, decided to carry on under the guise of research. what a crock of s..t, the treaty was broken and no one wants to sanction japan over their indiscriminate slaughter of those magnificent mamals. i don't condone what greenpeace does and what it stands for, but someone or the organization who brought this resolution into place should persue the issue.......... there, my rant on behalf of the whales is over.

Japan had agreed to keep with the court ruling thta they will not be allowed to whale hunt in the southern waters after Minky whales. Now they are after whales in other waters claiming again it is for scientif work.
Greenpeace ships when in port here in Melbourne attract thousands many of whom make large contributions to their cash coffers.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
