Welcome
Just found this site whilst surfing looking for pics of the Clan Malcolm. I sailed on her during 1965, thereafter on various Clan boats. I joined B&C so I also sailed on the Union Castle fruit boats and on the Hector Heron. Does anyone remember how to do the "Doxford Dance" ????
Welcome Taffy to a great site, there are a number of other 'Taffs' on board. If you can give a few more details of your ships and dates you will be amazed at who will contact you. So grab a cold one sit back and enjoy the voyage.

Hi Ian. just another warm welcome to you , find yourself a berth and see you in the mess later on. Geoff , always in a mess.
I remember the Doxford dance. I used to do it in the village pub, with a couple of Geordies, when I lived in Balmedie, Aberdeenshire. One of these fine gentlemen (both ex-Doxford) gave me a framed picture of a Doxford, which is on display in my office, in Denver, Colorado. What years were you with B&C? I started as a cadet in 1971 and went ashore in 1978.
