Earlier Post/Steve Drury
Some may remember an earlier post sent to this site by Steve Drury from a retired fishermans group in North Shields, advising they would be pleased to receive anybody visiting the area at anytime. I took advantage of their invite and did so whilst in the area I was seeking information re a family tree and was made very welcome.I did receive some ..info. as required to pass on to someone else. They have a good set up at their club with a large screen and access to the internet. One of their members reckoned he knew my face from Aberdeen, so told him it was probably when I was falling out of a pub. However they do make you very welcome and anybody requiring help for family trees etc. I am sure they will help if they can. Cheers John Sabourn.
