Titanic is a four-part television miniseries costume drama based on the sinking of the RMS Titanic.[1] It first premiered in Canada on Global on 21 March 2012 and in the United Kingdom on ITV four days later.

The miniseries is one of two large budget television dramas involving the Titanic to be released for the one hundredth anniversary of the disaster on 15 April 2012. The other is Titanic: Blood and Steel.

I watched last Sunday,s. I wont be watching this Sunday,s the Titanic the ship appeared in the show twice it was more like an omnibus of Coronation Street, And never touched on the real issues regarding the disaster. Very dissapointed Terry.:th_thth5952deef:

We had the exhibition here in Melbourne a couple of years ago. So impressed I went twice, put a repport on site at the time and will re-post closer to the date in April.

Reminds me of a girl I know!

Went to the Titanic exhibition in Vegas a couple of years ago, thought it was very disappointing, but then again I don't know what I was expecting, again as an ex seaman there were too many things that were not described correctly or technically incorrect. It must have cost a fortune to put on, but I did notice that the technical advisor was ex USNavy and not ex USMerchant Marine, two different worlds in operating and historical scenarios

On this mornings BBC news it showed the new Exibition Hall opening tomorrow in Belfast. Its on the very site where the Titanic was built,Harland &Wolf's Yard.
It looks very impressive with replicas built of the interior,dinning saloon,cabins,stairways ect, This is an ideal location,it being the city of her bearth,but this world wide travelling circus has gone to far.:mad:
