finding ship
hi lads just got my crs10 cards through on sat found 2 ships i dont remember being on and thats after doing 2 trips on each of them must have pie eyed there names where daghestan 186909 got some info online for that 1 the other was dunblane 187304 cant find anything about that 1 any ideas lads

I did one trip on the Redcar, from Newport to Wabana, Bell Isle Newfoundland in July 1957, returning to the Tees. All the deck crew were being dispensed with for some misbehaviour on the previous trip, the Mate said I could stay, as I was not on the last trip, but I declined, as I would have been a bit suspect as the only jos left. We saw nothing at sea, it was foggy there, and foggy back, and the outpost we docked at, didn't even have a shop, a bloke came down in a station wagon selling jeans and shirts. I understand that the iron ore mine closed some years ago,and the area is derelict as that is all that there used to be
