    Default Tragedy in Norway

I would like to express my sadness to all our Norwegian friends who may visit this site over the tragedy that has just happened in your country.

A great seafaring people and a great nation.

May the dead rest in peace

Sadly this will not be the end to the reign of terror. The hatered of the west by a few mad radicals will continue I fear. They despise the west to such an extent as to attempt to remove it completely. Sadly it is the inocent that always suffer. The Norwegians are a peace loving nation and my prayers go out to all of them.

These are sentiments we all share, made even worse that these atrocities were carried out by one of their own.

We cannot imagine how the parents of these young people will be feeling, it is beyond comprehension and our hearts go out to them for this so unnecessary slaughter, we as parents and grandparents it doesn't bear thinking about. I fear that the body count will rise, as those attempting to swim away were fully clothed as youngsters are when camping and the waters around Norway are very cold at night even in the height of summer. Such a tradgedy.

Our hearts and thoughts are with them

The Toll is now over 80 + dead. So sad, I feel for the Norwegian people they have my deepest sympathy.

What has that achhieved for any terrorist organisation.? In the UK that terrorist could claim political asylum and would be given a house and money. Because it is his Human Rights. Dead people do not have Human Rights, That is UK Law from the EU in Strasbourg.

The death toll is over 91 now and done by a Norwegian man.

I am going over to Norway on 4th August to attend a wedding just outside Oslo. I have to say though I really don't feel like celebrating anything after this tragedy. We go over there quite a lot as my better half has a lot of family over there. I too echo the sentiments of the previous posts.
    Regards,
    John

    Default The Scandinavian people

Hello , my name is Stephen Flaherty and my discharge no: R804635.
I lived in Sweden for 4 years back in the 90's, I can speak and write Swedish and can understand Norwegian.
I am saddend by what has happened there and would like to say I could see this atrocity coming.
The Scandinavian people are in the whole are a friendly but a lttle shy. I worked there and found them to be very industrious and loyal.
The reason I could see this coming is self explanatory.
Go into U-Tube. Type in Malmo Sweden watch the American news report on what Scandinavians have to put up with.
    Make your own choice. Steve.
