I have Emailed Mike and sent PM .so hope he will respond soon!
I will be sending my Printed Flag as well in the next few days!
It would be nice to get more Flags in other places as suggested, but its up to Mike if he has anymore Flags to donate!??
As for mine well.i would love to oblidge Lads but i have allready had 3 made thus far,and at quite some price too! Then there is Postage etc!

flag
well now,
i have been a bit busy lately, with other things in my life, like getting ready for our cruise we are taking quite soon, and a lot of things have been put on the back burner.
the flag is in the process,i have a blank flag which i have to add nearly 500 names.
this will take some time,as i found out with the one i supplied in new zealand and the one in australia.
now there is a suggestion that one is required in glasgow and plymouth.
i did mention in a later post of the costs i have to incur, when i make up and supply the flags.
well i am not going to explain the costs.

No wish to push!
Mike
I know that you are busy with other things etc,and have no wish to push you on anything, its just that i had thought that you had a Flag allready finised and ready to go!
I will Email Mick and tell him that the Flag from you will be delayed a bit,my only wish is to get one up and Flying for the Lads in the UK.
In the meantime dont stress mate, and go and enjoy your Holiday!
Cheers

A Flag in the UK ??
Forgive my ignorance but are these flags the real thing (Bunting) or are the made of paper?I always thought that they were the full size M.N.bunting and names and numbers were sewn on.
Regards.

Flag
Cannot guarantee, but sounds pos this is the same for you, have been knocked back a bit this week and arranging contingency. Could possibly at least add some pics and explanation. At the mo seem to be near two exhibitions, rather than the proposed one. Behind every cloud and all that. Will know more of the silver lining / s in a day or two. If I can assist more I will.
Cheers K.

A few answers
Hi Jim B
Just to get it right as Mike says his is a Genuine Material Flag full size, which would have taken a lot of work!
My Flag although Computer Generated has been put on a Thumbdrive so as it could be sent to the Printers!
This is then Enlarged to the size (100cm x 60cm) that is allowable to be posted in a Tube,it is printed on a Glossy type paper and is then Laminated for reason of protection and also so that it wil last for many Years! All the names etc are well visible at this size.
As for the postage from here Deep Sea i thank you for the offer, but no need to worry its all done with a good Heart!
The Total cost of Printing,Laminating,Postage etc comes to $150 Aussie!
As this is a one off i can manage that! But pleaseknow that i am really gratefull for the offer!
This will all be done by Friday(17th June 2011) this Week,so hopefully my Flag should arrive in Southampton by sometime next Week.
Thanks
and Cheers

Explanations!!
Tony
I will leave the explanaions etc on Mikes Flags to him.
As for my one as can be seen(well not so much in the Pic i suppose) it has the Full Names of all the persons that i could get on ,their First Ship they were on and their Registration Numbers (some are R and otheres have UK)
I have put them in Alphabet order and tried to seperate the A" B"s etc,as space is the thing,i could only get so many names on.
I had started another one though, and there will of course be many more names there ,the second one is about three Quaters full at this stage!
When completed (hopefully in the not too distant future) i will keep that one and when we get some other place i can then send that one to wherever!
Cheers
