The U.I.L. could be ulster impeiral line. The Ulster Queen 1929/1940,became H.M.S.Ulster Queen in 1940/41.So the assumed seaman is (A) MN(B)pre ww2
Any one from the pool got any connections.

I have noticed you keep popping up in a lot of the threads.But i didn't expect a quiry to the POOL to come to the attention of someone in NSW.(Small world with these computer things)Yes i've been scouring some of the bits you mention and think i will not get much further unless some family member is actively searching for connections.The daughter Isabel would be in her mid 90's now. Silly me, i've just twigged it.Every body in Ausse has a pool, but i should have said Liverpool. Could go on. We have a daughter- in-law from Capetown.
Small world. Keep up with the postings,they make for a lot of good reading.
