    Default All Is Lost

One of my favorite movies is All Is Lost with Robert Radford starring. It's a very interesting story, almost without words, only a man and his struggle against the raging elements. I recommend that everyone watch it.

Robert Redford made another film with very little dialogue and once again about fighting the elements, if you haven't already seen it Terry,
" Jeremiah Johnson" is a good film, based on a true story of a man who heads off to the Rocky Mountains in search of solitude, he became
a mountain man fighting for survival against Indians and Grizzly bears, he was a legend in his own lifetime, it's a very good story, cheers

I've seen All Is Lost, too, but I've never heard of Jeremiah Johnson - I read the review, a very intriguing story!

Like movies that tell some of the interesting bit of history?

Watched one Saturday night, it i set in USA, where else, in the mining region.
It tells how the mines were mainly men only but a few women joined.

Many of the women were subjected to sexual harassment until one takes them to court.

The result saw the begining of the sexual harassment laws in force around most of the world.

The film is called ' North Country' and well worth a look at.
    Available on NETFLIX

Thank you for the interesting recommendation, I love movies with Tommy Lee Jones. I especially liked " Volcano", I did not know about this film in his filmography.
