Re: Murphy's War
Both far better than many of today.
So much science fiction type with computerized styling and very poor story lines.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Murphy's War
I thinks that Peter O'Toole was one of the Finest Actors of the time, he was always so captivating in most all of his roles, thanks for reminding me of this one.
Another that i have posted before on here is his role in one Film that i am sure not many have seen, but i rate it also as one of his finest ever besides Lawrence of Arabia, and that is "Rouge Male" If you have not seen it,do try and get it for free on the Net, a well worth watch especially now that there is not much more to do.
Cheers

Re: Murphy's War
Hi Terry. My poor old shipmate in Kiwi swears by it. According to him their normal T.V. channels not worth the effort.

Re: Murphy's War
NETFLIX a savior at the moment.
We find it good at any time but just now it is getting a bit of a work out.
Saturday night watched the Godfather, Marlon Brando, maybe one of his best ever.
The movie has made number one in the top 100 movies of all time.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Murphy's War
Yeah, I agree, now more than ever, there's time to review your favorite movies. I, for one, revised Cast Away with Tom Hanks
