    Default The Blue Max

This is a Movie i had seen a few times and really enjoyed it.
George Peppard and James Mason take good parts in this Movie.
A good Story with an ending that one would not have guessed ! Brilliant
    Cheers

Just one of my many DVDs I watched it not so long ago. Last Saturday Evening watched 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. James Mason again. If nothing worth watching on T.V. I dig out a good oldie. I still like Saturday Night at the movies with an ice-cream half way through.

Great memories Vern I agree always remember the old Winter Garden cinema in Waterloo Liverpool it was a Saturday morning ritual for all the local kids I can still remember the song we all sat and sang as the old boy on the organ appeared out of the floor boards,
WE COME ALONG ON SATURDAY MORNING GREETING EVERY BODY WITH A SMILE,
WE COME ALONG ON SATURDAY MORNING GREETING EVERY BODY FOR A WHILE,
WE COME ALONG ON SATURDAY MORNING NEVER COULD WE STAY HERE FOR TO LONG,
WE COME ALONG ON SATURDAY MORNINNNNNNG GREETING EVERYBODY WITH THIS SONG.
We would all after a large dose of Zorro run home afterwards smacking your ar*e riding your horse all the way home having sword fights...……………………….. Happy days Happy kids.

    LOL
    Amazing Terry
Brings back the old memories of our Sat Morning ritual as well in Cape Town at the Colosseum Bioscope, with Start off the News, then two Comedies, then the Weekly Serial , and then the Interval, after which came the Main Movie!
At Interval we also had on stage Competitions like Riding Wooden Horses Race, and i recall me Winning once ,what a Buzz! LOL
Now just as you before all that started we too had our Song with Uncle Ben on stage and sang this

    Horay Horah
    Were at the Colosseum
We know where good Pictures are
And here,s the place to see them

All we Lads and Lassies here
    Have Smiles upon our faces
We are happier here with Uncle Tom
    Than going other places!

Repeated twice then a Hug Cheer!
Oh the Young days were so good!

Sixpence on a Saturday morning brought you enough enjoyment to last the week.

But now with lock down scouring through the various channels to find movies, any kind of movies as long as they are good.
SBS has a great load of them.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

The last time I actually went to a Cinema was 1997. The Titanic, did not enjoy it, the volume of the music did my head in. I was searching around my seat for the volume control !!
