Re: Darkest Hour
My home town years ago had 6 cinemas, now not one.
Rather than going into the City, I will wait for the DVD release.

Re: Darkest Hour
Vernon, we went to see it Thursday.
It is by far one of the very best movies I have seen in years, Gary Oldman portrays it to a Tee.
There is I would suggest maybe about 6to 7% poetic license but generally very true to the facts.
Some was actually filmed in the 'War Room's under Whitehall, visited them back in 2013.
I found it so enthralling that I wanted it to go on, so much more to tell of the events of the time.
Any one interested in UK history of the time should make the effort to see it.
Happy daze John in Oz.

To some of us John, it wasn't history, we lived it.
