The Wild Geese
As we have had a few good comments on the Memorable Movies I thought of this one,as it reminded me of my dear late Brother Greg, who Years ago went and joined the then Famous "Colonel Mike Hoare" Mercenary Fighting Unit that served in the then Belgium Congo, not a very pretty sight on some of his missions and forced (this by his service) to kill many ,that put a definite scar on him for life. But that of course was his choice at the time! So many at that time did similar for Money!
Anyway on with this Movie which I really enjoyed and all the parts playes by all Start was great!
A British multinational company seeks to overthrow a vicious dictator in central Africa. It hires a band of mercenaries in London and sends them in to save the virtuous but imprisoned opposition leader who is also critically ill and due for execution. Just when the team has performed a perfect rescue, the multinational does a deal with the vicious dictator leaving the mercenary band to escape under their own steam and exact revenge.
