Re: 'picnic' (1955)
#4... Wasn't it William Holden who played the male lead in the Film the world of Suzie Wong. I spent some time in Hong Kong and used the same ferry more or less travelling back from Hong Kong to Kowloon every evening and morning. She had her own apartment, Amah, and lived quite luxuriously for a chinese girl. I used to imagine myself as William Holden every time I got on that ferry. What vivid imaginations we had, as well a life style at times unimagineable by some working ashore. Her boyfriend who was a Swiss musician was out of the country I may add. Must have been one of these FIFO workers, maybe that's what causes all the mental stress with some of them. Cheers JS

Re: Sons Of The Desert
#8... I'll join the Legion that's what I'll do, and in some far distant region where human hearts are staunch and true, we will fight the foe anew. the rest of the words get mixed up, probably the same as the first few. The tune is clear as a bell though. Cheers JS
