3rd Mate

I have mentioned this one before but have been asked by John Reagan if I would post it again. are there any Manchester Liners crew out there who remember him. He ended up as 3rd mate and was working on the pool for a few years as well.

I sajled on Manchester faith feb 62 until feb 63. Only remeber my 4-8 watch mate Chris Murphy and also James Grace?

Definately enjoyed my experience on the ship.

Hi Keith,

I have spoken to you before about the Manchester Faith. I was there the same time as you but sorry I can't remember you or Chris Murphy. I do remember Jimmy Grace though and am still in touch with him although only at Christmas. He has been in New Zealand for 30 odd years. His good mate Charlie Nutbrown was also on there.

I was on the Manchester Faith and Manchester Fame and get mixed up with the old crews and the runs we were on. I joined her 27/12/61 and paid off 2/4/62, resigned on 6/4/62 and paid off 8/6/62. The skipper was Dennis Millard. Can you remember which run we were on? my first signing I am sure was the Meddy run and the other on the Lakes. Do you remember going to Plymouth with grain.
