Re: few threads for manchester liners
I am 81 or will be on Friday. My first trip as Sparks was on Manchester Spinner in March 1957. To Halifax, St John New Brunswick and Albany New York. The only ship on which I saw a film (Forbidden Planet). Happy Days.

Re: few threads for manchester liners
Did any of you Manchester liners blokes come across a Donaldson who would of been a cadet about 1953/54/55 who came from Walker Newcastle on Tyne. My wife’s family met his family on holiday in Seahouses about the time mentioned. I never knew him but the wife who was about 14 at the time remembers the family. JS
