I think in our local RSL they dispense more water and coca cola than beer, Iknow one thing just about every month the price goes up a couple of cents, so someone is not drinking.

Prices, our grog, smokes and petrol/diesel are indexed twice a year at the inflation rate.
So twice a year your grog goes up. maybe only a cent or two but it all mounts up.
Slab of 30 cans went up by $1.63 last month.
Only benefit is the 10Cents a can refund on the container deposit scheme.
Collect all bottles, plastic only and beer cans.
Got some $80 back at the end of last year, close to same this year.
