yes John one has to explain things nowadays. I myself am learning a new language called? Millenial talk. At the local supermarket there was only a half cabbage for sale. So I asked the attendant there if he could cut it in half for me so that I could get a quarter cabbage. All I got in return was a blank look from him. Not to be daunted I said that I only wanted a quarter cabbage. He asked if I wanted another half one. When I said no I did not the penny must have dropped as he said? Did I want him to cut in in two. This is not an isolated occurance but just wondered if any one else is having problems with the English language when communicating with the youger set lol.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Favourite of mine at the pub,
    "packet of crisps please"
    "What flavour?"
    "Potato"
Watch for the blank look......until the penny drops.
