    Default wicked humour

A lovely old couple came out of the shop to see the traffic warden writing a ticket, they asked him to give an old couple a break, he just looked them and carried on writing, so the old guy just called him an aresole, so he wrote another ticket for the tyres, so the wife called him a **** head, so he wrote another ticket. so they walked away, and got on the bus and went home. old couples can cause havoc having fun at their age.

but how many displayed disabled badges? Very common here for people without blue badge / card to take disabled spaces.

Local Lidl the disabled bays are always full so my wife uses the Mother and child bays which seem to out number disabled bays about 2 to 1.
A slip of a girl objected to my wife about using a bay even though we did put the disabled badge up.
My wife as quick as you like replied , trust me we are in the right bay, you don't live with him I do.
Not to sure about what she was implying.

I too had a problem with a parents only bay.
Told the young lady with two ids that is she was fit enough to push them then she was fit enough to find a spot further away.

In one of our local shopping centers management walk around the disabled bays and ask who in the car is disabled.
If there is no one then the driver is given a choice, move or pay the fine.

It is illegal here in Victoria for a non disabled person to use the permit without a disabled person in the vehicle.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Same here John it is me who is the badge holder so my good lady only uses it if I am in the car. Sometimes if I do not want to go into the shop she will not park in a disabled bay. Usually I do the shop and she looks at the middle isle were the drills and other DIY tools are. That way we are both happy.

The original theory behind disabled parking spaces was that they had more room either side for people with restricted mobility so that it enabled them to open their doors fully to assist in easier access / egress. This has degenerated somewhat in some places into standard slots painted yellow, so defeating that objective. Parent and child spaces were put in for same reason so they could manhandle kids and prams etc with less risk of bashing the next vehicle. Don forget there are people with hidden disabilities also, as I am sure we have all wondered at times what apparently is wrong with some who look perfectly fit; I myself still ponder on the yummy mummy and daughter I saw recently, dressed in matching track suits and trainers, who parked up without a badge in a disabled slot, jumped out and raced off towards the shops.
