    Default Specsavers customer?

Not my joke, but a goodun.

My last girl friend was so cross-eyed, that when we were saying goodnight at the bus stop,
I never knew whether she was gazing into my eyes,
or looking to see if the bus was coming.

Years ago I had what was called a "lazy eye", which meant I often had double vision. Thought all cars had 4 headlights!! My brother-in-law at the time said it was disconcerting to talk to me if a "good" sort walked past. One eye would be on him the other followed this person walking past LOL

I went to pick my glasses up from Specsavers last week the girl handed me a bag with 4 pair in What are the 4 for I asked. There for reading/ There for catching the bus/ There for watching T.V. And what are these for . There a pair of glasses to find your glasses if you loose them.

I had to go to the Sydney Eye Hospital for months having all kinds of exercises trying to encourage both eyes to work together, it was too late for an operation by the time it was discovered. The surgeon told me it would be like" tying the elastic in your knickers when the elastic was shot"!! I often wonder where he got the analogy for that from.
It has improved with time but still happens from time to time, my optician is amazed how I can see from 2 different perspectives at the same time, has been a handy thing to have for peripheral vision.
Very handy in my Ultrasound days to spot things out of the normal eye range LOL
