Test to see if I can add a full size photo
I have written a few old stories with photos of my time at sea in the MN with Denholms and BP and in the offshore industry and would like to post them but cannot see how to post a full size photo it always comes out as a thumbnail. I know it can be done as I have seen it in other postings. My intention is to have a few paragraphs of text then a full size photo and then more text.
The photo below is the Burmah Zircon 1974 at Capetown

Hopefully Doc will enlarge,
think only moderators can
make pics larger on site.

Photo looks good to me, was it pre-Doc or post-Doc, or original poster. First saw that topless mountain in 1957.

It is something to see when the Table cloth is being added, only ever seen that happen once and the speed the clouds dropped coming over the top was amazing.

Indeed Lewis that actually happens quite often in Cape Town as they get a lot of Wind there which seems to bring on the Table Cloth! Great sight though.

First time I saw the Table was 49, a few times after that, then one that sticks in my memory was looking at it with my future wife who I had just met in 57 on the Southern Cross. We were only reminiscing about it this morning. Lovely picture

Re: Test to see if I can add a full size photo
Been up there a number of times, lost a cig lighter once and said one day I will come back for it.
That day has not arrived yet.
The table cloth is something to see as is the view of the Cape from the top.
But when the Doctor blows all hell is let loose.

Re: Test to see if I can add a full size photo
Thanks for the info Doc.
Here are a few more of pics taken from a drilling rig (in Cape Town for repairs) and the top of the mountain one shows the rock rabbits which I have just found out they are locally known as Dassies, photos taken in 2000. Pictures not to sharp as they were taken using a cheap mobile phone. The early photo is a scan from a slide.
