    Hi Guys,

Just found this site today, I was with Denholms from 73 to 83 box boats for a few years also Arctic Troll Presently I am C/E on a drill ship in Indonesia.

Also did a few hitches on the Chemical Explorer and the Nordic Texas.

Need to look through the other firums and see if I can spot any old names.

G'day john and welcome to the site. Do you still have a list of the ships you sailed on nad maybe some dates? If so and you care to post them on site there is a good chance someoen will remember you. So sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Cool Davie the 'lodger'

    Hello Davie mate
    Good to hear from you!

Glad to see you and John Thompson emigrated (much better life eh?)
I remember the times you stayed at ours on the way back to bonnie scotland, fkn heavy drinkin' sessions man.
I'm still with Allison and the lads are now away and married, our oldest Paul lives at North Shore in Auckland.
We now live in a bungalow about 1/2 mile from where you stayed.
I went on to work for the NHS for 15 years and I've now taken early retirement, life is good Davey.
Keep in touch and give my regards to J.T. when you bump into him again.
    All the best Dave
    Mick

Hi Mick, I was Galley Boy on the Loch Maree - Nov '77 - May '88 Pat Croarkin was the Chief Cook - one my toughest and happiest trips - learned lots with Pat. Due to coming from an Italian Scots family - my nickname was 'Luigi'...
