    Default My ships with Denholms.

    Had the pleasure of working for Denholms from August 1975 untill November 1978 as Third Mate.
    Served on :

    MV Scotspark
    GTV Eurofreighter
    MV Burmah Peridot
    MV Chemical Explorer
    GTV Euroliner
    GTV Eurofreighter.

    Its good to see so many ex Denholms men still keeping in touch after all these years
    brings back many happy memories reading the different stories posted.

    Hi Laurie,
    I amsure you had a good run with that Company mate,and with a bit of time i am sure there will be quite a few that will contact you about that!
    Lots of good un's aboard here and in no time you will be chatting away with hopefully some old mates of past years!

    Laurie. I sailed on the Peridot and did the first dry dock in Japan, I was forth engineer and really cannot remember many of the names of the time, One of the deck cadets was Ian Main who came from Carstairs I do remember how great it felt just having come from the Burmah Cameo where even at 21 found the going tough, maybe that was because I was 21 and did'nt realise that you needed to sleep sometimes.

    G'day George and welcome tot he site. Do you still have a list of your ships maybe somedates as well? If so and you care to post them on site there is a good chance you may get to hear from some who knew you. So sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage.
