Hello all....Im trying to find an old mate. His names Christopher John METCALF, he'd be 70ish now. We were on 2 Prince Line ships together.....African Prince & Eastern Prince in 1954/1955. Last heard he was with China Steam Nav Co....Last seen him in Sydney, Australia. Christopher, hails from Hove. Thx, 4 the warm welcome, Geoff. Have found myself a cabin, and also have a stowaway onboard......in the form of my partner, she finds this PC biz a tad easy than I...haha. We'll do as u suggest and post a list of ships....Will have to get the thinking cap on...

I wonder if this is the person you are seeking as it sort of ties up with the dates mentioned,as his DOB is 1937 that would have made him about 17 or so at that time you speak of!
Born in Brighton,which i think is part of Hove Council?? Not sure! haha!
