I never sailed in MN but my father George Ostens Chief Engineer was with RFA thru war,and various other companies. His best mate was Bill Parkinson also Chief Engineer sailed with BP. Australian BP manager in Sydney...lost contact with him.My Aunt Audrey Leonard was London Manager for Union Castle,in Seventies. She transferred to Capetown and Married Capt,Alexander Kennedy who was senior Captain with Clan Line. His best friend was Capt Archie Crawford, sadly all passed.I wondered if anyone remembered them,Regards
