That’s right Des it’s not tomorrow but Thursday for the brain scan. Tomorrow have a visit from a person to see if I qualify to go on the roll of Silver Chain to,see if I can register as only the wife’s name on the list and if she is not in the house when cleaner comes they won’t enter if just me there , so have to be a member also. Then all being well the next day Silver chain comes in for me to sign up, this is the day after they have either lost the brain or someone has pinched it. Cheers it’s all done by magic. It’s not the memory ,it’s the falling over , the excuse of kissing the pavement has worn a bit thin at the moment it’s the heart specialist that’s sending me there as BP is still too high and tablets have seen better days. BP stands for Blood Pressure, I prefer to,call it Be Prepared. Some ex tanker men may think I”m talking about British Petroleum ? And taking too many whiffs over the ullage caps when looking for the three foot ullage., Cheers JS.

If the doc says lie on the bed be very careful, he may want to examine parts not used for some time.

Thankfully have no problem with BP except when the PM come son the TV.

Re blocked ears , the only trouble I had was last year when I lost one two days running down the ear channel , hearing aids that is. Had to go to the emergency unit at the hospital for the nurse to recover them with tweezers . To make it worse was the same nurse both times , wouldn’t mind betting they called me Noddy. No blockages now just don’t wear them. JS

    Hi John
Just a heads up, my wife says to drink a lot of water she drinks about 4pints a a day.
Her blood pressure was over 200 when she was rushed into hospital, a Dr there gave her one pill ad after twelve months of trying her blood pressure came down overnight to normal, without criticizing the other Dr the hospital one said she was on the wrong tablets, she is now on AMLODIPINE 5 mgs
    ask the Dr about it.
    cheers Des

Back in 2015 I fractured the fifth metatarsal on my left foot and spent six months in a moon boot.

Few weeks ago I began to get pains in that area so of to see my GP.
After an examination he told me,

You have had a visit from a member of the Rhitis family, in this instance Ater.
Could have been worse he told me, his cousin Osteo is far worse, and there is another far more evil cousin by the name rheumatoid, biggest and far worse.

So beware this family will more than likely make a visit to you.

Warning too late John, I am already lumbered with them. Broke both bones in my lower leg and dislocated my ankle when I was 14, suffering for it now with my ankle. I was told at age 50 I needed two knees doing but was too young. However I have had them done some time ago with one 16 years now and the other 14 years. Took a tumble about 5 weeks back and smashed some ribs (healing up nicely) and banged a knee quite badly so hobbling a bit just now but apparently no real damage; all my other joints appear to be running to catch up to my ankle.
I find a laarge tot of malt at night works better than paracetomol.
