Default Is COVID on the rise

Estimated case numbers jumped by almost 200,000 this month, from 606,656 predicted cases on July 4 to 785,980 on July 27, according to The Zoe Health Study, which estimates figures for UK Covid infections.

Meanwhile, coronavirus test kit sales in Boots were 33 per cent higher in the week ending July 22 compared to three weeks before, according to the retailer.

You have to wonder is the number on the rise or is it Boots have a load of test kits nearing expiry date?

How many here have been called for their 4th 5th or whatever the booster number is? I seem to remember at the beginning of the year there was a big push for the vulnerable and later for the over 75's to get a booster. Seems to have gone all quiet again or is make an appointment with yor local GP surgery?

Rates are currently highest in the South West of England with between 931 and 1,628 daily new cases per million people

    I had 5 boosters 12 months ago
But while in hospital with my broken legs and hip I caught it with 30 men on the ward. So they sent us all home in ambulances
    so Anne then caught it.

My brother works for the County Council, he was a covid marshal during that period but when his contract finished he moved over to the pest control dept.
He visited a house last week and was discussing the problem with the lady of the house on her doorstep, when, after about five minutes of close discussion, she calmly announces she is off work as she has covid; absolutely no attempt to stand away from him or gave any warnings prior to starting discussion.
    How caution fades rapidly.
