Re: Falls
It means no decrease in blood supply, no internal bleeding which was my concern and apart from a bruised left buttock which I understand some folk pay good money for, you appear in remarkably good shape considering.... Discharged and now back in the comfort of your own home. Doesn't get much better than that, a good news update indeed. Take care.

Re: Falls
Still got the pain Marian and didn’t get offered the real hard pain killers , however got to suck on what the beach lifesavers use and it really works , the one in the series on tellie every week out here , was pain free all the time using it. Everyone should have one , think they may be addictive though. Anyhow everyone says I expect too much too soon . My wife has had both hips replaced and was up walking around within weeks. However think a repair bone job and a replacement must mean two different things , think she thinks Im a wimp just to get me going. Cheers JS

Re: Falls
Well done John, well, well done in getting home in one piece, take it easy and look where you are going, I keep tripping over a fitted carpet!
If anyone is wondering why they are getting no 'thanks' or 'likes' its because the button keeps telling me I am 'not allowed to press this button'

Re: Falls
#7 Sometimes its better to look where you’ve been Ivan, to look where we are going might cause nightmares .? Look at the joy you got earning the money to buy that fitted carpet and the sense of accomplishment . Even though you might have had to patch it up from pieces out the rag bag. Cheers JS.

Re: Falls
Glad all is well John, we all do daft things as we get older. I think i am a tad younger than yourself, but at 82 spent best part of yesterday humping pavement slabs , hoping to lay them later this summer, later being the important word, Jesus, i can hardly move this morning.
