oim tinkin for a lot of people on here #1 is superfluous, as most will be soaking in a glass of bicarbonate of soda overnight.

I've heard of sparkling wine, but haven't come across sparkling toothpaste in the off-licence

Just an old method used for Years by the Non White Africans ( On the Gold Mines as there were Thousands) was just plain old Salt, they used their Fingers to rub and clean the teeth each day (Twice a day) and you have never seen such lovely Gleaming White Teeth! It of course also helped with any infections! Wish i had followed that routine, as now i sit with only three Teeth left! Eeeeeek!!!!

#5 Also soot from down the chimney. At least they looked whiter when you got all the black soot off them. I have none of them left so maybe wasn’t so good advice . Cheers JS

I still have some, holds the bottom lot in place.
But the top, just a piece of fancy plastic looking like teeth.
But still have all my own teeth, kept in a little box, as they came out I took them home.

Bleach makes things white, maybe not the best taste though.

In 1936 on my fourth birthday my big sister bought me a tin of Gibbs toothpaste, I have cleaned my teeth ever since, they are not white as white now but at least I have most of them
