Re: Prostate problems
#19 A well written description of the pitfalls of man’s sufferance due mainly from age or so we we would like to believe. Could be straight from the scientific journal Lancet. However for the layman a repetition of a writing by an unknown author I submitted some time ago has a somewhat softer approach to the longevity of life in general, I have this hanging up in the smallest room in the house……
THIS IS HIS LIFE….
From 20 to 30- if a man lives right
It’s once in the morning & twice at night
From 30 to 40- if he still lives right It’s sometimes
He misses a morning & sometimes at night
From 40 to 50-it’s just now and then
From 50 to 60 -it’s God knows when
From 60 to 70 - if he’s still inclined,-
But don’t let him kid you
It’s still in his mind !
His sporting days are over
His little light is out
What used to be his sex appeal
Is now his water spout,
It used to be embarrassing
To make the thing behave
For, nearly every morning
It stood and watched him shave
But now it’s getting older
It sure gives him the blues
To have it dangling down his legs
And watch him clean his shoes.

Re: Prostate problems
Hi Frank.
I was diagnosed at 62 and had radiation treatment, was clear to 70 then it came back, I have a three monthly implant, last check it was around 9, but It hasn't so far changed my life and I'm going on for 93.

Re: Prostate problems
Thanks for that Des,
I have been quite well with the hormone treatment. As I said, I am starting 6 sessions of radiation. I am 85 now and feel quite fit. I am pleased that you are doing so well and I am hoping to keep going for a few years yet.
Thanks for the boost.
Frank.

Re: Prostate problems
I suppose the term prostate could be changed with the addittion of one simple letter (R).Then one could use both words together to describe the probable outcome of the first word by saying “ one’s prostate has every chance of making one Prostrate? “. JS

Re: Prostate problems
Hi John
I refuse to be prostate, we are going up the Club for dinner shortly, Monday is cheap fish and chips, and being the Club gives the wife $20 on her card we don't have to worry about paying, a bit like being at sea.

Re: Prostate problems
You have no need to procrastinate in that case Des. Where is our resident wordsmith these days , he would be in like Flynn with his experience as a proof reader.? Cheers JS
Ps is the salt and vinegar free ? Js
