    Ivan I agree, Velcro came out of the first trip to the Moon.
    But look at some parts of the world, middle east in particular.
    What have they gained form all the technology?
    Even the guns they have are out of date.

    Not all of man kind has benefited from all of this, some got very rich while others who had the idea got nothing.

    The rich get richer and the poor stay where they are.

    Strange as I recall the VELCROŽ brand of hook and loop was invented by
    a man named George de Mestral in the 1940's
