    Default Ear Syringe

I don't know if this applies to all health authorities, but anyone in our HA, that has a problem with ear wax, this is no longer being done in HA, one of the places that now do this is Specsavers, syringe one ear 50, 2 ears 100, just info really

Never needed any more than warm olive oil, though people with a
ruptured eardrum should never put olive oil or other substances in the ear.

    Very simple here in Oz.
Buy a bottle of ear wax softener, go to your GP and he will syringe it out, no worries and no cost.
Have mine done twice a year

Here in NZ ear syringing has just about done its dash in favour of suction like a vacuum cleaner. Strangely, I had ears syringed every 3 months for many years until it was found I was allergic to eggs. Haven't had an egg since, nor any wax. Nutty perhaps but????? So, can one eliminate/reduce wax by not eating eggs, or any food with egg content? Seems I have.

#7 That’s because when on these massive engine rooms you were on Tony you never wore the correct muffs for the area you were in . Now if you had stuck with your cotton wool , you would still have sonar operators hearing .
Maybe, Perhaps, Hopefully , !!! JS . What about scrambled eggs ? Bet you’ve had egg on your chin many a time

I have constant ear wax in my left ear, which I need to manage as best as I can. Tried all sorts in the end went to see the doctor and all she said this is part of my lung condition from the Asbestos /COPD. I am constantly bringing up Phlegm so ENT all being connected such is life. I used to try and hold my nose and create pressure until I hear my ears pop a bit. Must admit best done while seated in the bathroom as some times more than the ears pop This getting old at times is not much fun.
