Like most I am not perfect in spelling , but learned or taught myself how to spell words up to eight letters or so , but after that have to ad lib . However Cervaso and Cuba libre just scrape through with 9 in some cases. Sometimes get stuck on soixant Neuf though. I often wonder do the French have problems in their spelling or does 69 come naturally. Cheers JS

    hi john sabourn #81
spelling is the curse of ones age, as most people i know complain of the lack of the said ease in spelling, myself included, but im assured that it is not the chateau neuf du pape wine you are refering to.but if you asked the sommelier,if he could recommend such a fine treat, then im assured he most likely refer you to the infamous one legged mary as the best person to oblige,

Think Mary according to Cappy had conjunctiveitis ( excuse spelling ) some years ago so had the vet remove all the teeth and had walnut replacements inserted . Cappy always puts walnuts in the category of Xmas ever since he got two in his stocking with the hole in it , the stocking that is, and only uses it as an offering from December the 15th to January the 5th. Mind he does charge extra I am told. JS.

    hi john sabourn#83
well the spelling of conjunctivitis, so you where a ( i ) wrong, And as for cappys xmass celebrations mary would obviously take centre stage and the donkey would be alongside of her, so between the hay the donkey was munching on and whatever she filled her mouth with from cappys xmass fayre im sure she never went hungry.although cappy would need to re-stock his walnuts.

At junior school we had to do spelling 'B' and no matter if the bell had gone for a break we could not go until we got it right.
I was fairly good at it, then I bought a computer.
Fine if you live in the USA, but anywhere else and your spelling is cactus.

Not if you find it in the knickers of Mary, she will hold on to it forever.
