All the news that comes up when I switch my comp on is bull dust, according to their reports there would be no one left alive in NSW or Victoria, no one now is giving the correct details and they expect people who have English as their second language to sort it all out, no wonder Sydney is in such a state.

i can see that if false information given by the media there is to such a

Vernon, only small but a step.'
Come down here to Mexico and see what goes on, I see schools in NSW will not go back until late October, hardly worth it that late.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel and not a train coming the other way.
PM has agreed with QUANTAS that international travel can begin before the end of the year.
The nation has to learn to live with this and get on with life.
We have become the laughing stock of the world with our lock down restrictions, now the second longest anywhere.
Singapore are having about 50 cases a day but with about 75% of population fully vaccinated lif e is almost back to normal.
According to latest figures we need another 5 million doses administered, take about 4 weeks, then on to 80%
Agree with most of that John, but hell small step! Thats not even a baby's length on its initial move! Could have put a bigger Carrot in front of us at least after all the efforts we here in NSW have shown! And to Crown it all cannot even have 5 People in ones own back Yard! How silly! If you can sit in a crowd in a Park , where is the sense! Mind you ???? LOL
Paul Murray slams 'garbage' freedoms for fully vaccinated in NSW (msn.com)
Marian, lovey lady.
I see your comments about numbers of cases in Scotland, small population.
Population of Scotland in July 2021 is around 5.517 million
With around 5020 cases in a day that is about 0.09% of population.
Total UK population is around 75 million. plus about 1 million illegals no one knows where they are..
30,000 cases in a day represents about 0.04% of the population.
But every one of the daily cases comes off in 14 days, so even if you get the same number every day the total 14 day would be 420,000, or about 0.56% of total population.
For Scotland it would be a bit higher at 1.126%
To put things in perspective.
Australia has a population of about 25.6 million.
Current total number of cases is about 1,000, or 0.03% of population.
So 14 day would see 14,000 cases or 0.5% of population.
UK has about 80% fully Vaccinated which is about 60 million.
Marion, is the fish going off a bit as I see it is now going Green!!!!
Well, our little Island is running above the national average in covid cases, and we are down by the head with holiday makers, and bank holiday weekend as well, but will quieten down next week, will see what that does for the figures, kt
Same here in Devon, we had the lowest rate in UK until the 'Staycation' arrived, don't get me wrong, they are welcome and our local economy depends upon tourism and we need them. 90% of our visitors obey the self imposed rules laid down by shops about mask wearing (as they are no longer compulsory by law), some of the remainder genuinely forget and do put masks on when they see others wearing them. The remaining will not obey any rules, nor have they have any patience about delays in service either in shops or restaurants, even though there are staff shortages in all sectors, either through sickness or other reasons (alternative employment). Alas we now have one of the highest rates of covid infection, it is one of the bi-products of staycation, but people have to go somewhere and I don't blame them for coming to this beautiful part of the UK, or other numerous beautiful places in our sceptred isles, rather than facing constant form filling, traumas of airports and possible isolation after or during holidaying abroad.
We all have our views on the effectiveness of masks, but I wear mine in establishments as a sign of consideration for others, as some are genuinely frightened of being near people who do not wear masks.
