Saw the report about the efficiency of AZ, great news but there is still talk here of a booster each year along with the flu shot.

The law here in Oz does not allow for mandatory vaccination, but all those in aged care and front line such as Ambos must have it.

Many companies such as QUANTAS are saying no jab no job or travel.
SPC who can fruit and vegetables are making it compulsory though the unions are up in arms about it.
But health regulations here in Oz regarding the handling, cooking or serving of food allow for such to be enforced.

A prototype vaccination passport was on the net the other day, obviously the gov is working on such as when these things appear like this you know it is the feelers being put out to get a feel of public opinion on such.

For me no worries quite happy to uje one if it sees life back to some form of normal.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Meanwhile down here in Mexico, south of the NSW border he has struck again.

WE have had another outbreak of it.
An engagement party for some 63 people, including two GP's and one infected person.
Chairman Dan our state dictator not happy so lock down extended to September 2.

Last year he imposed a curfew which the courts later ruled was illegal under the state constitution, but not to worry about that mater, it is back on again.
    2100 hours to 0500 hours.

Victoria is fast becoming a Police state though the Police said they do not have the time or resources to impose it.
We are now more like Russia or China, a country our Dictator is closely aligned with, gest all the state money for building from there.

But he has now joined the mad cap Labor state premiers, all who now have, along with the mad Kiwi female PM, who say they are no longer on a policy of containment, no it is now elimination.
Suggest they tell that to the Virus and rest of the world, the Virus is here to stay, get used to it.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Hi Victoria.
It's far far to early to talk about Vac passports, as far as the Country areas of N.S.W is concerned there are NO vacs available, you only have to look at what is happening up in Walgett and the Aboriginals to see that NSW is a basket case, My wife has to have a blood test next week for her failing Kidneys and again we will see if we can get the vac, our first.

NSW is to get an additional 520,000 does of Pfizer care of Poland.
Most will go to the suburbs hardest hit by the latest outbreak.

But latest figures show we are Vaccinating at the rate of 200 per minute across the nation , faster than the UK rate.

What some do not know is that when you get the first dose of any Vaccine you are then given the date for the second, some find that hard to understand.

At the current rate we will have 70% of elligable persons with at least one dose by end of this month.

By end of November at that rate the 80% we need for freedom.

Based on our population of 25.6 mil of which about 1.36 will either be too young, to stupid to have it, or for medical reasons.

    24 mil at 70% = 16.8 mil
    At 80% 19.2 mil.

We are now at about 15.5 mil.

    [
Most of our GP's here, if they do not have the Vaccine they will set you up with the nearest Vaccination hub.

It would have been nice to have locked the door Lewis, but with literally thousands of lorry coming in from the continent everyday with food supplies etc, it would have been impossible, what we really need is aMerchant navy where we could bring our supplies in ourselves with less contact !!!. Some bright politician might come up with that idea, who knows. What we learned in two world wars is all forgotten, kt

People travelling into Wales from England will be told to wear face masks by rail companies, First Minister Mark Drakeford has said.

Face coverings continue to be mandatory on public transport and in shops in Wales, while in England people will just be advised to wear them.

Mr Drakeford said it would be "simpler" if the same face-mask rules were applied across the whole of the UK.

Unfortunately NSW is led by a woman who made the first mistake with the Ruby Princess, then has continued to make them. Thousands of skiers from Sydney and Canberra were down the snow many despite the Sydney lockdown, when she announced the total lock down to take place in TWO hours, the stupid idiot didn't realise that it would take many of them seven hours or more to get home, then she said that no one can go more than FIVE kilometres from home and only for essentials, in Country NSW people have to travel anything up to 300 to 500 Kilometres just to see a Dr or visit a Bank. What a plonker.
