Today it has been announced that our current lock down will run for another week.
But we can now go ten klm from home not just the five.

We are in lock down again after a traveler from Adelaide brought the Virus back, that is the gov story and they are sticking to it.
But they have been savaged by one epidirmiologist who said the scare tactics are not warranted and he is correct.
Saying that 30,000 could die in Melbourne from this is nothing short of demonic.
The claim is a bit on the whiffy side.

How daft was this, last week two football teams from the English Premier league played the European Champions League Cup final. The original venue to play the game was to be Istanbul Turkey. But because of Covid restrictions the venue was changed to Porto in Portugal. You had several thousands of football fans travelled to Portugal for the game. Portugal was on the UK's green list for safe travel without the need to self isolate when you got there or when you had to come home. I understand before you could travel you had to have had two Covid tests. Well guess what Portugal has now been put on the Amber list and you will now have to quarantine on your return home. Reason !!!! 6 flights carrying returning Manchester City & Chelsea football fans have had passengers testing positive for Covid -19. Now maybe I do not have the whole picture but would it not have made sense to have played te CL final at Wembley stadium!!! If I was a betting man I would say we are in for a rough ride again come September as we will see a major spike again in Covid numbers. This week alone the numbers have increased two fold from last week. I think yesterday there were over 6000 new cases, not sure if that figure is UK wide or England only.Attachment 32521

Yeah Vic that would be right enough think it was 3000 VIP's had there snouts in the trough for a freebie. It reminds me of the CL qualifier at the start of the pandemic Liverpool v Atletico Madrid at Anfield. 3000+ Atletico fans travelled to Liverpool even though Madrid was ravaged by Covid. LFC did not want the game to take place but EUFA insisted. This was in March 2020 I think we went into lockdown the next day. The spike in covid in the city of Liverpool went through the roof in a few weeks after this match, also Liverpool lost :(
The rescheduled Euro 2020 being played this month in 11 different cities around Europe with the semi and final being played at Wembley. The way covid is on the rise again the lot should be cancelled same as the Olympics. Looks as if the people of Japan do not want them either and who can blame them.
