Thanks Brian , just been reading up on the pros and cons about both drugs. I may well have a chat with my Doctor about changing as the Apixaban seems to have less possible side affects than Warfarin

Vic I take Clopidogrel 75mg as well as the Warfarin. I am on that for 6 months. Something to do with helping with the stents I had put in in January?

I see the EU has finally decided to nick pretty much all of the AZ vaccines produced in Holland, breaking the contract with the UK. I would have thought that AZ could take the EU to the EU court of justice , but surely this behaviour would not look good for any company wishing to deal with companies in the EU. The trade deal has still not been ratified in the EU parliament, they have till the end of April to do so, will be interesting, kt

Is there not a small question about the £67 million the UK government are supposed to owe Astrazeneca which apparently has still not been paid?

you dont have to worry about moustaches, just look at the re-incarnation of his granddaughter mutter angela merkal she even wears coats that are tailored exactly the same as her predecessor, even down to the colours,
my barber( i use the term lightly ) pointed this out to me when trying to make the cutting of my bonce a bigger job than it actually is.

That’s what my mother always used to say to the old man when she was describing his side of the family, they all have Germanic heads. Funny as you get older one remembers these old things. Achtung ! JS

women are so much more imaginative than us mere mortals, and their words of endearment can sometimes be sharper than a knife under the rib cage, one such term i have heard my wife use in the past was, your likely to die of old age in bed, as only good people die young,
see what i mean, there good.

#15, Lewis, where did you get figure of £67m from? From wha I have read UK has given AZ two tranches of money, one of 65.5. and the other of 17.5m.
