Re: Covid Vacs
Ladies on ships, OMG.
Back in the days of sailing ships there were some who did not know they were there.
The ship had skirts, a female figure head at the bow.
It is my considered belief that Mary, she of Cappy fame, came from such a ship.
She was up at the bow, how she got off only Cappy can say, but obviously this is how she lost her leg, maybe over the side and maybe from where we get the term a leg over!!
As to the other ladies, the ones on here, they offer some proportion of decorum what ever that is, as a result of which we find our selves in deep do, do at times.
A lady scorned or something like that comes to mind!!!

My dear girl, I for one haven't a clue what you're talking about, oh! by the way I notice you haven't yet acknowledged your sarcastic post mistake in attributing a post to myself that I had not originated, people who live in glass houses etc, comes to mind. My toys were usually in the 1000 to 30,000 ton category, I believe Lewis played with bigger ones.
At the age of 13, I was working on distant water trawlers in the Arctic Circle, so running home to mam was not in my nature or an option even if I had felt like it

Re: Covid Vacs
If they put the vaccine in beer and opened up the pubs –
the whole country would be vaccinated by next Thursday.
Just trying to help.

#210 Re News or sometimes known as the Screws of the World. Before it was thrown on the scrap heap where it belonged. Did they ever finish that Engrossing serial story Forever Amber , or was it left to rot without completion on the waste tip. ? Maybe George Robey put a bid in for the manuscript and enlivened it up a bit and can now be purchased from a box number in Port Said. JS

Re: Covid Vacs
Who was Amber and why forever.
Was she any relation to Mary of Cappy fame?
Maybe she used to light up the crossings when the chicken crossed the road, but apart from that the only other Amber was often found with a fly in the middle of it.
