    Default frustrated still.

Last summer I posted a blog regarding getting the news I had bladder cancer. Initially things went well, in for a scope, then a scrape and the news it was stage 1, but aggressive. a schedule was set up for six BCG injections into the bladder, all went well until the third round, then I developed intense pain in the joints. the pain was transient, moving all over. going to hospital for the fourth injection, I had to use a wheelchair, when the nurse saw and heard what happened, the DR ordered me to the ER for further testing. of course any further injections were put on hold. After intense testing and a course of investigation into Lyme disease, which finally came back negative, they could'nt give me reason for the pain. So, as the Dr only did the BCG treatments, he transferred me to another specialist at a different hospital, furthest from where we live.... So it started again, sit down and go over history, another scope, yep growing again, another scrape and sent to pathology, to the surprise of everyone the results were clear, this sped up the decision to start a course of chemo injections, a course of 12. I'm now 4 injections in, but this covid 19 has me worried, will they shut off the treatments as the restrictions at the hospital are becoming tighter by the day. My wife can no longer come in with me, she has to stay outside the main doors. But still, one still has to be positive and look on the brightside. Stay tuned...

Stan, if your system is like ours here in Oz then treatment ill continue.
Have a nephew in Bexhill on the south coast who requires a number of different treatments and he is still being seen regularly.

Such treatment as you are receiving should go under the essential services.

So hang in there, you will be fine.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

All the Best Stan keep fighting.

John tell your Consultant you need to go to Christies in Manchester.
It is only for Cancer, Nothing else, and is the Best in the whole world.
Other hospitals are a mix of various illnesses and do not specialise in Cancer, if you don't ask you don't get
    Cheers

During this 'panic' all our health services are classified as essential so all are hard at it.
But for some reason Dental has been closed down for now, but hairdressers can still operate as they are considered to be an essential service.
That to some extent I can understand, there are many elderly living alone who rely on them for a once a week wash of their hair, they can also identify scalp problems many may not know they have.

But all elective surgery has been curtailed in private hospitals of which we have very many, gov say they may want them to suppliment the public ones if it goes belly up.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
