Re: Eyes
I was told not to drive and have someone drive me,
I accepted ambulance travel as waiting for the effects
to wear of was suggested to be 4-6 hours, though all
eyes and patients are different, further advice was any
problems after 24 hours to go back.
Keith.

Re: Eyes
Thanks Chris
Yes i have thought of that however a bit conplex here as i will have to catch a Train first to Lithgow then a Bus or Cab to the Hospital,so i suppose not too bad only will have to leave early enough from home.
There may be a chance that my Next Door Neighbour will take me but as of now he is not too sure on that date,
Anyway i will get there and back by hook or by crook but not nt Car as you advise!
I will take that advice from you .
Thanks again mate
Cheers

Re: Eyes
Vernon, down here across the border you must have a qualified person to take you home after the op.
Not allowed to go by your self.
Different states, different rules.
Also warned not to look through key holes for a few days after. LOL

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Eyes
RE: Initial Eye check, it is recommended as discussed not to drive when the Pupil is to dilated,
the advice to be accompanied here is for the actual op. My initial required an emergency eye
check and I took a taxi both ways, it was close enough economically to do so. My appointment
was for an hour before our local MN Annual service and stopped off on the way home unescorted,
I was there for the service but, did nut attend the reception after, I walked home with no problems.
The kind offer from Richard seems a good idea.
Regards, Keith.

Re: Eyes
Hi Vernon.
I was going to say don't even think about it. Good offer from Richard, but anytime no one is available to drive you you can get some one from social services to take you , as you are on a pension.
