    Johno:

I had a stent put in near the heart and a valve put in my heart to keep it pumping in two separate procedures last month. Both were from the groin used with local anesthetic and shoved up a vein. didn't feel a thing mate, apiece of cake. The worst thing was having to lay flat on the table. The second worst thing was in the heart valve op, they shaved off the ten beautiful hairs on my chest that I have been curling and using hair conditioner on when I shower, grooming the mongrels for about sixty years, and getting a new hair added every decade or so. Now my chest looks like billiard cue ball. No matter how I pleaded and tried to explain the work I had put into them the bloody woman took malicious glee (shadenfreude) in denuding my chest.

No pain mate, weird, but it's a doddle.

    Cheers, Rodders.

Went back to the hospital today to see who was right about the stay or not to stay that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to accept what they say, or by taking arms confuse the buggers.

Well as it will most likely be a Stent it means an overnight stay.
Thankfully we are only 30 mins drive from the hospital so my good lady wife will be there to pick me up...……...I hope!!!!!!!

But Rodders and John thank you for all the info on it, very helpful.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Went to see my GP today to get all the paperwork related to my 'situation.'
Here in Oz we get full copies of all medical paperwork, X rays etc, should we request it.
Her in doors likes to have it all on file, keeps it in a box for reference.

He then told me something I never expected.

Yes they may well be a blockage, but it may also be a kink in an artery. Something I have never heard of before.
He explained that some times extreme exertion can cause a kink to form, bit like kinks in a hose he said.

The I thought of it, the Kinks just where did they go, now I know.

    Then I remembered,
A sunny afternoon, and Lola went to watch Waterloo Sunset and said you really got me.

So kinks or blockages, the next instalment will be after Octember 31st.

    Watch this space.

Well Victoria, the Cardio specialist said I was a bit of a mystery as two ECG gave differing results while my blood pressure at 120/80 was perfect and my lungs sounded good.

I asked him if he had ever met my wife as she often says that about me.

I have also discovered that mother in law is not an allergy, not what me departed father in law would have said.
But tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
to the last syllable of recorded time
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death,
out, out brief candle, life is but a stage and every one a player who struts and frets his hour and then is heard no more.

So on the morrow, we go forth and cry for England, Harry and St. George.

You may all well be crying if December 12th is a stuff up.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
