Hope you get some better news next week Kieth, there is so many causes for loss of sight, I can empathise as I lost my left eye to AMD 15 years ago and now my
other eye is going the same way, the injections I had were working until there was an infection so now just have to wait for end stage, I use a magnifying glass for
the computer now and get there after a while it take ages to do a post, chin up mate, you never know what they may come up with as they're working on these things
all the time, I've been told that when it's end stage they may be able to insert a tiny telescope to give some vision, they are monitoring me every two months so there's always hope, Good luck and best wishes to you and Chris in your forthcoming appointments John Collier

Hope all goes well also for Chris.

Looking at a larger compo screen, magnifying features
and hoping not to need speech activating stuff.

    Fingers crossed.

Keith, I am sorry to learn of your distressing news. Please know that I join our fellow members in their kind wishes of support and hope that the forthcoming consultation may yet provide a more positive prognosis.

To Chris, may I also wish you every success with the operations that are pending and commend your outlook regarding same. Que sera sera, perhaps, but with a more positive attitude which I truly believe is the best way. Good luck to you both.

Excuse me for not telling to much, I am not one for putting to much of my
    private life on line.

Right eye totally wrecked, touch and go with the needed.

Top man is to do the op and fingers crossed.

Hope to get back to near norm ASAP, we will see.

Meanwhile hope to complete much that I have left to do,
then call much a day anyway.

I have set up much that will continue either way.

    Regards,

    Keith.

Keith, That is so sad and I am very saddened to hear it, You will be missed by a lot of people and hopefully one day a cure may be found for your condition, I know its no consolation but when I lost my dear old Mother she was blind, But she always had a smile for a voice she recognised, Regards Terry.
