Certainly do not disagree with you in any way. just most are not aware until after going through the process.

I actually feel the form in myself but had received advice from a department of work and pensions visiting officer who was actually really good and knowing that you have contact at Stoke Mandeville I believe she's called Amanda and is there several days a week she is really good and very knowledgeable and in all honesty extremely fair she was great for advice the other major advice and I'll be perfectly honest and say that I didn't use it but I had listened to the advice other than got from them in my particular case the charities that covers spinal injury or Aspire and backup both who have caseworkers who assist you I'm assuming the groups like the multiple sclerosis Association which I don't know the name of and stroke have such officers who are 1000 times better than the good advice you would get from the Citizens Advice Bureau you need that specialist information and going to the specialised charities they have done this so many times before and I genuinely going to put you ahead of the game whether it's an application for a mandatory review or for a tribunal there advice is I honestly tell you invaluable
Everyone I know that has actually failed has filled the form in assisted by a friend and they have not inputted the specialist knowledge that has been needed this just make life a little bit harder when it comes to tribunals and things

Best of luck dealing with them but that specialist advice and having a consultant on your side make the whole process much easier

My 3 year award from the DWP was after an ATOS assessment that was a desktop assessment with no interview and I am absolutely certain that whatever the consultant neurosurgeon wrote it wasn't worth the volume with him he is not a cuddly friendly consultant and I know some of these terminology can be a little bit cutting Edge so I am assuming that he was the greatest influence

Many if lucky just get Citizens Advice, after losing all they slowly find bodies that then tell them that they could have helped.

I forget how many pages there are on the form I think it's about 45 the guidance note are very clear but the Citizens Advice have so-called specialists and to be perfectly honest I specialise in a lot of things but they do a good job for the knowledge range they have I had a lot of good advice that came through my knowledge of and at Stoke Mandeville national spinal injuries Centre they are absolute expert on this because you will find that the neurosurgical consultants are doing it on an almost daily basis

I do agree Rob but for many as you asked: "and today's quiz is name one contract that Capita got right ? , might take a while"

#14...it’s nice to know someone who knows what I am talking about Rodney. As regards public speaking have always shied away from it. However on becoming a mason it is essential at times to have to stand and acknowledge someone’s toast and reply. Knowing that everyone is in the same boat helps to ease the tension a bit, some however lap it up and think they must like to hear themselves talk. As said in a previous post have been asked to give a talk to a recently joined Probus club. ( professional business people) about seagoing and apart from the dislike of public speaking , have really no liking for going into the deaths of other people which I feel is letting them down. I rather think to make matters worse there will be rather a larger crowd than usual at this meeting , so am going through my own little private trauma at the moment. Life would be much easier if was a hermit and just shut out the world, but then would probably die with boredom. Cheers without stuttering I am pleased to say. JS

PS might be able to get the story in about Cappy and his escapades with Sadjicos brother. Sure he won’t mind, but will have to think about that one as will be a mixed audience , and some might take offence. JS

    K.,
If you ever read Private Eye magazine, you might recall that they used the title Crapita for quite some years now.

like Universal Credit , outsourcing is a good idea , badly applied and under resourced , Once targets ( and bonus structures ) are set corners get cut , the Health Professional works 20 mile radius from home postcode 9-3 , four assessments then report writing , I understand do more you get a bonus , but cannot prove that . 4 x 1 hour assessments 4x 1 hour reports , travel , of course corners get cut
