Re: Reflux
Hope all go's well for Keith's son and of course for Jim also.
I have had a minor problem for years with acid getting back into my stomach. The camera found a small tear , but the doctors said an operation to close it would be worse than the symptoms.
I had to give up the booze as every time I drank alcohol I was sick. Still miss going for a pint and chat it is not the same drinking orange juice. Just one tablet every morning keeps the acid down.
Good luck.

Re: Reflux
Hi Jim the inside of my body is probably healthier now than it has been for a great many years. As with most seamen it has taken a lot of abuse with the booze and fags , I wouldn't like to know how much money I have spent drinking anything that came in a bottle , glass or can while smoking like a chimney , but I enjoyed it all especially the company of fellow seamen. Now I am trying to repair some of the damage , a healthy diet , no junk food from McDonalds or Col. Sanders fried chicken , while keeping body and mind active. Living like a repentant monk is not as much fun as the old days. The insides are taken care of now to work on the outside which will be a lot harder.
