Just think of it this way Vern? Now that you have had the flu your immune system will kick in to protect you in case it comes around next time. I have never had the flu shot even though the doc kept asking me to have one because of my health but has also seccumbed to not asking any more. An article a while ago confirmed my belief where it said that there are a huge amount of people who have an immune system that conteracts the flu but having a flu shot weakens it and makes it possible to go down with the flu. Like many I have witnessed so many ending up crook after the shot.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

    Hello Les
Yes mate that is what I have always believed in,and I may still just go on as I have done as I have said in the past the Body creates an immune System each time one gets the Flu,as you say this bad one may just have increased my System that it will now withstand most .
Its just that it really was a bad time for me,but came through as usual! LOL
The Wife too came through ,so we should now both be fine ! ??? Holding all things dear to me LOL
    Cheers keep well !

PS Don't know if you recall me telling that my late Uncle "Dusty" passed away a few Years back now,and we put it down to him getting the Flue Shot just after he actually caught the bug! The Doctor should not have done that, but a shame nothing could done it was all too late!
    Cheers

There is a big push here to have all kids vaccinated against just about every thing you could think of apart from politicians.

While some such as T.B. and polio are good there area number of medicos here who have doubts about this practice.

The vaccination will prevent things such as measles, whooping cough and a few others. But these medicos say that prevention will stop you from getting this, but those who do get it will develop a better immune system.

Maybe something in that as many older person who were never vaccinated are healthier than some who now are.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
