###one of the most up to date and correct statements about the NHS on this site ...proper insider knowledge ...the NHS is not in a state of collapse that has been a foible for years ...kept alight by people who cannot create anythingbut can cause havoc with any statement they wish to make...i have in my circle of people i know 3 doctors ...not one of them works more than 35 hours per week .......the truth of the NHS problems are with the complete overpurchase and ridicoulous expense and waste which like any nationalised industry is rampant ....who on this site can complain about treatment as far as i am aware ...none ...we only have glowing reports ...but still the whingers come back time and time again .......red lead teds ..we are doomed is typical of this type of denigration of a great caring facility being pulled down by bigotry ......we have seen them ...with the big poster we are doomed walking the strets and 10 nyears later we are doomed ...i can only think ted someone has suffered grievously at the hands of theNHS that you know ...if so i send my regrets but in the meantime apart from the millions coming and getting it for nowt....it is the best service that is nationlised in this country regardlees of it fault ........SUPPORT THE NHS ..STOP BLOODY KNOCKING IT .......CAPPY

A report by the IFS,stats that public spending will have risen by £37b by 2021,the spending is made up of £23b in more day-to-day spending and £14b in investments.

Hi shipmates, A sea story for a change? In the U.S. of A , Date 1970 ship the Bridgepool one of ropners, ashore in New orleans walking down the side walk {pavement} a car mounted {drunk driver} and hit one of my shipmates,{ broken leg } a bystander called it in and a ambulance was sent , the first question was do you have BLUE cross? one of my shipmates a steward said he did {I did not know what is was?} so he was taken away and treated in hospital without blue cross he would still be there? Moral of this tale is never go abroad with out some form of cover,or money? unless you will be dumped by the roadside.

I was married to a School Teacher so I do know what they get and the low hours and big holidays.

Re NHS, We are paying people to Breed, it is a Growth Industry, all I see around where I live are `moos` with six and seven kids, having a baby every year, We pay them to out breed us, They get money for being pregnant, they are using the NHS for all their treatments during Pregnancy and during Childbirth and after, Then for 18 years they are paid Child Allowance weekly, they are costing us Millions of pounds weekly, Their husbands have up to four Wives and all pregnant, One Moo near me was boasting that he had 20 children with three wives, If you do not like it then convert to being a Moo.
Stop Child Allowances or at least for no more than Two Children. Why should the Tax Payer pay for someone else's sex life.?

I have found the receipt from the hospital when I was born in 1935 that my Dad had to pay, It was for £2. 12 shillings, A weeks wage, Today that would be over £600 , And No Child Allowance every week, So that would Save us Trillions of pounds if that was brought back, Dad brought up Five kids in those days with Nothing and every visit to the hospital and Doctor and prescription had to be paid for.
So what is the problem People today should be thankful for what they get instead of trying to make Political gain from something they are getting for free.

I personally believe first three kids you get family allowance , we need a generation so as we can have a pension, they when working are ourpension earners for us. But after three kids no family allowance for the third or more after that. Again if people continue to breed ,him and her both have the snip, sorry I love kids but 3 is plenty 4 is to many. okay may sound a bit draconian but if you breed em you feed em!!!!

Hi Lewis , what do you do with the Four wives my neighbours have, three kids each equal 12 kids,

    .
Before they had Gadhafi killed, he said, "We do not need to fight the West, we will take over with sheer weight of Numbers,"
The truest statement any politician has ever uttered,
We are outnumbered where I live now. I am now an alien in my own land.
    Es salaam u-alakum.

Les , can you not write a clear and concise post with an interesting content of several sentences??
Your vocabulary seems to be limited to three words,
You must be a barrel of laughs in your alehouse.
    Cheers
