Hi all just to let you know one of our shipmates, Brian Daley, is not at all well, myself & Bill Seddon are going down to see Brian for a few hours on Wednesday. Brian is in the Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield.
Anyone who want's to send him a message can do so on Facebook then his daughter will pass it on.
Brian has had a stroke with complications but as they say you can't keep a good man down so here's hoping he gets well soon.
    Richie Bradshaw.

I have known Brian for quite a few years from the Vindicatrix Reunions in Sharpness.. and got on very well together, good humour.
He is from Liverpool and lives in Tamworth, near Birmingham, with his family. So sad to hear of his stroke. Hope he recovers soon.
    All the Best.
    Brian

Brian, Maybe you could kindly pass on my well wishes to Brian Daley and a quick and satisfactory recovery.
I have been lucky. Been somewhat busy over the past few weeks catching up with Spring chores and thus AWOL.
Yesterday M and I were on our way out to our favourite coffee shop and a bit of shopping and found the back tyre of the car was flat. It was a struggle putting on the spare and in a shop I got a tightening in my chest and dizziness. I sat on a bench for a while and went home still feeling lousy.
Only a month or so ago after my regular stress test (5 graft by-pass 2005) my cardiologist wrote me out a prescription for a nitro glycerin spray and told me if I had any chest pains to squirt a spray under my tongue. When I got home I used the spray and immediately things got better.
I suppose the lesson to me was, if you have the need for nitro, take it with you everywhere. Again, Brian D. get well soon.
    Cheers, Richard
